1. The Secretary of the Navy, in the name of The President, has awarded the Presidential Unit Ciatation to the U.S.S. FROST for exceptionally meritorious achievement in the performance of outstanding combat service against enemy forces in the Atlantic Ocean Area from24 March 1944 to 8 May 1945.

2. The Cheif of Naval Personnel takes pleasure in forwarding enclosures (1) and (2) for which you are eligible by virtue of your service in the U.S.S. FROST during the cited period.
