USS PCS-1445, 1944-1952

USS PCS-1445, a 136-foot submarine chaser, was commissioned in March 1944 and served in the Pacific during the rest of World War II. Placed in reserve after the conflict, she was loaned to the Republic of Korea in May 1952. Under the name Kum Seong, she served in the ROK Navy until the 1970s.
