USS Inca (1898-1908)

USS Inca, a 120-ton yacht, was built at South Boston, Massachusetts, in 1898 for civilian use. Acquired by the Navy in June 1898, she was employed as a patrol and training vessel out of Boston during the Spanish-American War. After the end of that conflict, she served as a Naval Militia training ship until 1908.
