Edwin L. Pilsbury (American Harbor Tug, 1906

Edwin L. Pilsbury, an 83 gross ton harbor tug, was built in 1906 in East Boston, Massachusetts. In 1917, when she was owned by the Commercial Towing Company of Boston, the tug was inspected for possible Naval use and assigned the registry number SP-964. She was ordered taken over by the First Naval District in May 1918, but this action was apparently not carried out.

This page features the only view we have concerning the harbor tug Edwin L. Pilsbury.
