View looking forward from the bridge on 10 September 1943, while the ship was in Salerno Bay, Italy, during the Allied landings there. Several LSTs and other ships are in the distance.
Note 5"/38 gun in Ancon's bow gun position, and 20mm machine guns mounted near her forward kingposts.
