USS Maine (Battleship # 10)
The ship's Commanding Officer, Captain GilesB. Harber (right center, with moustache) greets "King Neptune" (center) and members of the Royal Party at the beginning of Equator crossing ceremonies, 6 January 1908.
The ship was then steaming south off the Brazilian coast during the "Great White Fleet"'s World cruise.
