Yeoman First Class (F) Alma Dora Smith, USNRF (1890-1980)

Note the three light-colored inverted chevrons on her lower left sleeve.
Photograph by the Lilliputian Studio, 527 Walnut Street, Cincinnati, Ohio.
Alma Dora Smith attained the rank of Chief Yeoman (F) while in the Navy. She was married to John Sibley Steward (or Stewart) and, later, Lieutenant Colonel George A. Hanlon, USAF. Alma Dora Hanlon is buried in Riverside National Cemetary, California.
