Photo #: NH 100887 USS Courtenay P (SP-899) In port, circa 1917-1918. Built in 1917, the motor pleasure boat Courtenay P was ordered delivered to the Navy on 5 July 1917 and placed in commission on 30 August 1917. On 6 July 1918 she was reported as "having proved unsuitable" and ordered returned to her owner, which was done on 12 December 1918. The original print is in National Archives' Record Group 19-LCM.
