Motor Boat built by the Gas Engine and Power Company, Morris Heights, N.Y., circa 1916

Underway prior to World War I.
This craft was an "exact duplicate" of the motor boat Courtenay P, which was ordered delivered to the Navy on 5 July 1917 and placed in commission on 30 August 1917 as USS Courtenay P (SP-899). On 6 July 1918 she was reported as "having proved unsuitable" and ordered returned to her owner. This was done on 12 December 1918.
