Photo #: NH 100667 Parthenia (American Steam Yacht, 1903) Photographed prior to World War I. Her owner at that time was Colonel Harry E. Converse, of Boston, Massachusetts. Purchased by the Navy and delivered on 18 August 1917, this yacht was commissioned as USS Parthenia (SP-671). Following patrol service during and after World War I, she was sold on 17 August 1920.
