Aramis
(American Motor Yacht, 1916)

Halftone reproduction of a photograph taken soon after completion.
Built by Robert Jacobs of City Island, New York, this yacht was acquired by the Navy on 3 July 1917, commissioned on 2 November 1917 and served during the World War I era as USS Aramis (SP-418). She was redesignated PY-7 in 1920 and remained under Navy ownership until sold on 13 November 1933.
