USS Amagansett (SP-693)
Painted in pattern camouflage, at the Norfolk Navy Yard, Portsmouth,
Virginia, in September 1917.
Built in 1879, this "Mehanden Fisherman" was taken
over by the Navy for World War I service and placed in commission
on 17 May 1917. She was returned to her owner on 12 March 1919.
