S.S. Yamhill
(American Freighter, 1918)

Underway in 1918, probably in San Francisco Bay, California, during her trials. She was built by the Moore Shipbuilding Company of Oakland, California.
Yamhill became USS Arctic (AF-7) in November 1921.
The notation "removed" on this print probably refers to the removal of the ship's forward gun platform soon after her completion.
