Photo #: NH 94474 Ora Belle (American Motor Boat, 1911) Photographed prior to her World War I era Naval service, probably in a South Carolina area harbor. This pleasure craft had been renamed Dolphin by June 1918. She was acquired by the Navy on 21 July 1918, placed in commission on 24 August as USS Dolphin (SP-874), and returned to her owner on 16 December 1918. U.S. Naval Historical Center Photograph.
