USS Ocelot
(IX-110)

Photographed circa 1945.
This former freighter, built under the World War I emergency shipbuilding program, served as an administrative command ship from the end of 1944 to just before her loss at Okinawa in October 1945. The two masts over her amidships superstructure were probably added to support her command function.
