USS Shenandoah (ZR-1)
Receives repairs to her damaged nose structure, inside the airship
hangar at Naval Air Station Lakehurst, New Jersey, 1924. She
had been damaged when a storm tore her from the station's mooring
mast on 16 January 1924.
This photograph, taken by Clements, shows one of her gas cells,
partially deflated.
