Air attack on a North Korean train, 1952


Planes from USS Bon Homme Richard (CVA-31) fire rockets at a train, as it is about to enter a tunnel in North Korea.
Photograph is dated 19 October 1952.
Note heavy cratering and destroyed & damaged structures in the vicinity of the railway line, which crosses a bridge in the center of the photo.
