Andrewes, RN, (left) and Rear Admiral Allan E. Smith, USN. The conference was held on board USS Dixie (AD-14). Photograph is dated 5 January 1951. At that time, Vice Admiral Andrewes, commander of British Commonwealth forces in the Korean area, and Rear Admiral Smith were the senior officers of Task Force 95, the U.N.
