Points out a possible target area for Korean War naval gunfire support missions to Vice Admiral William G. Andrewes, RN, (left) and Rear Admiral Allan E. Smith, USN. The conference was held on board USS Dixie (AD-14).
Photograph is dated 5 January 1951. At that time, Vice Admiral Andrewes, commander of British Commonwealth forces in the Korean area, and Rear Admiral Smith were the senior officers of Task Force 95, the U.N. Blockading and Escort Force.
