On the bridge of USS Ancon (AGC-4) on 7 July 1943, while en route to the invasion of Sicily.
Note the recognition silhouette of an Italian Macchi 202 fighter painted on the bridge windscreen, the Captain at left in the process of striking a match to light a cigarette, and what appears to be a portable radio at right.
