Japanese Midget Submarine

On display at the Camp Dealey rest camp, Guam, in May 1945.
This is a Type A or C midget submarine. Number "51" painted on its conning tower indicates that it may be Ha-51, which was a Type A. The submarine's hull is severed behind the conning tower, with a short gap remaining between the forward and after sections.
Note tennis and volley ball players nearby.
