Photo #: 80-G-33190 S.S. Sagami Maru (Japanese Passenger-Cargo Ship, 1940) Seen through the periscope of USS Seawolf (SS-197) on 3 November 1942. Sagami Maru was loading cargo at the small settlement visible ashore, in Davao Gulf, Mindanao, and was sunk on the spot by Seawolf's torpedos. Note her pattern camouflage.
