Normandy Invasion, June 1944


U.S. Army trucks move inland from "Omaha" Beach, soon after the landings there.
Note: .50 caliber quad anti-aircraft gun in the left foreground; barrage balloon overhead; USS LCT-305 on the beach in center, with a "Rhino" (RHF) just offshore to the right; and ships in the distance being positioned for scuttling as part of the "Gooseberry" artificial harbor.
