Photo #: 80-G-170944 Camouflage Measure 32, Design 1D Drawing prepared by the Bureau of Ships for a camouflage scheme intended for destroyers of the DD-409 (Sims) class. It could also be adapted to the DD-380 (Craven), DD-381 (Somers), DD-386 (Bagley) and DD-397 (McCall) classes. The port side version of this scheme was labeled Measure 31, Design 1D. This plan, approved by Captain Logan McKee, USN, is dated 6 March 1944. It shows the ship's starboard side, superstructure ends and exposed decks.
